JINAN, Shandong, China, July 8 /CEO News Info/ — Beijing PowerUnique Technologies Co., Ltd (BPUT), the wholly-owned subsidiary of China VoIP & Digital Telecom (BULLETIN BOARD: CVDT) , today announced that it has signed an additional virtualization contract with Guangxi Power Grid in Guangxi province, through its alliance system integrator partner.
The additional contract will be implemented in two stages, covering six cities in Guangxi Province. Guangxi Power Grid hopes to establish a comprehensive information management platform using virtualization technology. The project represents one of the largest contracts that BPUT has been awarded in the power supply industry to date. The approximate contract value is RMB3.59 million (US$530,000)
Guangxi Power Grid is one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of China Southern Power Grid which also includes Guangdong Grid, Yunnan Grid, Guizhou Grid, Hainan Grid and Southern Grid International. Earlier this year, BPUT was awarded contracts with the Guangxi and Guangdong Power Grids.
