French Open 2010: Justin Henin Gets Passed Maria Sharapova in Fourth Round

This is the latest buzz and alerts for resign ceo. Keep in touch with our blog. The source to find all Hot News for CEO’s.

Justine Henin grinds on; Venus Williams wimps out – and Caroline Wozniacki serves notice that she is the sleeper in the women’s singles at this French Open. While the tennis went pretty much to script, nobody was quite prepared for the stunning conclusion to the delayed main event when Henin had to draw on some of her genius to get past the outrageously determined Maria Sharapova. Both brought rearranged serves to Roland Garros but the Russian always gives the impression of fragility, and some wondered if that right shoulder would hold up to a punch-up with the little Belgian. It did but, over the course of two hours and 10 minutes, Henin’s class was too much even for an opponent capable of switching in mid-exchange from right to left hand. Remarkable. Henin won 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. She meets Sam Stosur in the last 16 but refuses to look past the Australian to a likely quarter-final against Serena Williams. “We played a tough one in Stuttgart just a few weeks ago,” Henin said of Stosur. “Sam is a great player on clay, which is probably her best surface. She has a big serve, big forehand.” Henin’s one problem is her serve; she sent down 10 double faults.

French Open 2010 Women’s Results: Venus Williams Advances to Round 4

This is the latest buzz and alerts for resign ceo. Keep in touch with our blog. The source to find all Hot News for CEO’s.

The third round of the 2010 French Open is progressing rapidly as multiple players make up or resume their second round matches and others compete to make it to the fourth round. The first woman to advances to the fourth round is none other than Venus Williams, who continues to enjoy fan and press attention for her burlesque-style outfit. There is hope that Williams was bluffing her when she stated earlier that she has several outfits with her. So far we’ve only seen the one, which, let me be clear, is more than enough. Neither her clothing (or lack thereof) nor her game play caused any hang-ups in her match, and she easily overcame Dominika Cibulkova 6-3, 6-3. Maybe Williams thinks the outfit is good luck. Then again maybe not. “I mean, as great as the design is, I really want the focus to be on the tennis” Williams said in an interview . “ No. 3 seeded Caroline Wozniacki also advanced to the fourth round with her 6-3, 6-4 victory over Alexandra Dulgheru. Finishing up second round play was Williams’ sister Serena, who barely broke a sweat when she pounded German Julia Goerges 6-1, 6-1. Four-time champion Justine Henin, who recently came out of retirement, is coasting toward the finals rounds at Roland Garros and will be facing Sharapova in next round.
